Laughter

So often, I think about how Mikael would react to a situation if he were here. Especially when something humorous happens. The other day I was over at the kid's place and I was going to drive Davis and the girls down to the baseball diamond to watch Carollyn play. The girls were playing outside shortly before we were to leave,  using their sidewalk chalk to draw pictures. I walked outside and around the truck where Roslyn was sitting. She looked up at me and her sweet little face was covered with blue chalk! "Uh oh!" I thought! A few seconds later, Davis, ready to leave,  walked out of the house and came around the side of the truck with the girls' baseball caps in his hand. He saw Roslyn and the look on his face was priceless! He dropped the ball caps on the ground, turned around and walked away in disgust. Roslyn of course had to go in the house and have her face washed before we could leave. Who all remembers the difficulty of going anywhere on time with their kids?  Like herding cats! They always seem to find something to do that makes getting ready take longer! As Roslyn went in to get cleaned up, I stood there laughing to myself at Davis's reaction. When I went to bed that night, I was still chuckling to myself. And I kept thinking about how Mikael would have laughed and laughed if he had been there! Perhaps he was laughing from heaven! I like to think so.
