I recently had the privilege of being Marcy Larson's guest on her podcast, “Losing a Child: Always Andy's Mom”. It is such a blessing to be given the opportunity to share my story and talk about Mikael.

Marcy started this podcast in response to her own devastating pain after the death of her son Andy. On August 15, 2018, Marcy and her family were involved in a car accident, hit from behind by another car. Andy was killed instantly. He was 14 years old. In the depth of her pain, Marcy looked for a podcast on parental grief to help her but couldn't find one. She made the decision to start her own, opening her heart to support others dealing with this same excruciating loss.

Marcy's blog and podcast approaches the topic of grief openly and honestly with compassion and empathy. Each podcast provides an overview to prepare you for the listening experience. It was an honour to be able to join Marcy on her show. The episode (#340) will be released on March 19.
